Why do Zebras have stripes?

  1.  When Zebras are in a herd it looks like they are 1 big animal so its hard for predators to get them.
  2. Zebras stripes keep zebras cool.
  3. When zebras are in hot areas flies carry a disease but flies don’t like stripes.
  4. Stripes on a zebra are unique because no other animal has stripes.
  5. In a large study of african zebra recherches found that zebra stripes correlated closely with temperature and precipitation, not the prevalence.
